Many Forest verges are part of a protected wildlife site. You can be prosecuted for damaging the verges. The National Park Authority sets planning conditions so building work and construction vehicles do not damage the verges next to a site. If your planning permission has rules about verges, read them before delivery day.
Forestry England manages the Crown land in the Forest. If you reach your property over Crown land, you need a New Forest Access Licence. The licence does not cover parking. Parking and storing materials on the verges is not allowed. Ask Forestry England before any work on your access.
